The broad outline for how stats and such work is the same as for the most recent version of the Hero Die + Trope Die system, but with a dice pool set up. That way instead of fiddling with the difference between rolls, we just go straight to the &#8220;big&#8221; successes that were previously called Raises, Overkill, etc.<\/p>\n<p>And yes, deciding arbitrarily that this was Cinemechanix v23 inspired me to make the mechanics explicitly Discordian. I&#8217;ve mentioned before that I&#8217;m no longer crazy about the name &#8220;Cincemechanix,&#8221; and I&#8217;m kind of thinking about calling it the Version 23 (or V23) system.<\/p>\n<p>The page is public, so you can view it even if you don&#8217;t have a World Anvil account yet (though you&#8217;ll need to set one up eventually if you want to see the Patron-only stuff).
